Honour for Colin Hamilton
The
Board of Management meeting held in October endorsed a recommendation from
the Board of Referees to grant an Honorary Fellowship to Colin Hamilton,
former Editor/Publications Director of Orchids Australia for five
years, and creator of this highly successful web site. The citation
referred to a "strong personal commitment to furthering the Council’s
objectives".
Two
new records of Bulbophyllinae found in the Philippines
Enthusiast
of the orchids, people and country of the Philippines, Jim Cootes,
provides information on finding two Bulbophyllums, previously not recorded
in the Philippines, on the coast of Luzon. Excellent colour photographs
accompany the article.

Vandaceous Orchids
